  • Brighten Our Classroom: New Whiteboard for the New Year

    Hello, I wanted to thank you again for your kindness and generosity in funding my project for a new whiteboard for our classroom. Our old board was stained and wouldn't come clean no matter what we used to clean it. Today, facilities came out to hang the new board, and it looks amazing! It is clean, magnetic, and easily wipes clean.

    Our kindergarten through 8th grade students were so excited when they saw the new board!!! This whiteboard will last for years and will positively impact the lives and learning of many students! Thank you for supporting education!

  • Dreams, Dragons, and Heroes: Lunar New Year and Black History

    I am incredibly grateful and humbled by your generosity in funding "Dreams, Dragons, and Heroes: Lunar New Year and Black History Books!" Your kindness means so much to our students!

    Our kindergarten students were so excited with the new books! The kids immediately dived into the books and wanted to share with their friends and teachers. It was adorable! One of the five-year-old students pretended to be the school librarian and "read" a story to the other children. The kids were so happy to have copies of beloved books as well as discover new favorites.

    Our teachers were also excited, especially to have books on the Chinese Lunar New Year and Black History Month.

    These books offer beautiful messages about diversity, fostering an understanding of different cultures, experiences, and identities, all while promoting kindness, empathy, and inclusion. The books on Ruby Bridges and the ABC's of Black History will be perfect for acknowledging Black History Month as well as all year long. Each year, our school honors Ruby Bridges on Ruby Bridges Day, so this book will be perfect in sharing her story of courage and determination to our younger learners.
