Make An Impact On My Students Learning Journey
Funded Dec 1, 2024We want to thank you so much for your generosity. I can't begin to tell you what it means to these kids to have the cricut to use. They are sweet, hard-working, highly intelligent kids who sometimes just need a little boost, and you are all part of that for them. We are already brainstorming on designing our first project. . Again, thank you, and we will send you pictures to show you what we've done! Our classroom is a better place because of your awesome contribution.”

Funded Oct 11, 2023Thank you for your donations. My students were so excited!! when they saw the boxes and couldn't wait to open them and use it.
Before you donated to my project their crayons, pencils, scissors and glue were all over the floor. Most of the time they could not find their supplies and their crayon boxes were all ripped up. It was very disorganized.
Now with the organizers you have donated we have an area where the children can go to and get the supplies they need. It is helping them become organized and responsible for their supplies and work.
It allows them not to worry about losing their things. Thank you again for your generosity and kindness.”

Funded Sep 17, 2020My students and I are so appreciative of the gifts you have given us. The students are so excited to have new books and supplies! They love to pick their independent reading books and that wouldn't be possible without your donations. The guided reading books have been a great tool in helping the students to continue to develop their reading skills. They also love the new journal books that they received! Now they have a place to write their feelings down about what they have gone through during this past year.
We are also very thankful for the card stock, ink dry erase markers and sheet protectors. The students were ecstatic with the card stock. They were able to make beautiful art work!
The thing I'm most excited about is my table top easel. I'm able to use it everyday to
demonstrate lessons to my students. Technology is wonderful but sometimes you need an old fashion easel and marker. Once we are back to school the students will be able to use it in small group and I know they will love it.
Thank You again for the donation.”

Funded Sep 29, 2020It is hard to put into words how grateful I am for your donation to my project. With so many of my students working from home it is impossible for them to do their work without manipulatives. These manipulatives will help them solve math problems, place values and patterns. It will allow them to do hands on activities instead of being in front of the computer all day. Thank you once more for your generosity. We can't wait to use them”

Funded Dec 31, 2019Thank you so much for your generosity. My students are now able to take assessments without distractions. The headphones allow my students to work in a quite atmosphere which allows them to concentrate on the task given. It allows the students to focus and practice reading and math. Since my students received the headphones their reading and writing scores have improved.
The most exciting thing about having the head phones is that there is no noise. The children no longer need to scream over the sound of the computer when asking a question.
The headphones have been especially helpful to those students who are sensitive to noise as it eliminates most of the noise. Thank you again for your generosity.”

Funded Aug 27, 2018My class and I are so thankful to you for your generosity. The students were so excited to receive all these wonderful supplies but particularly the crayons pencils and construction paper. They love to draw. As soon as they saw what was in the box, I can hear them say new crayons, "finally I don't have to use handy me down crayons". Each child received a zip lock bag with crayons to keep in their desk. Parents were also excited that they didn't have to worry about buying the supplies.
We sincerely appreciate your kindness and thoughtfulness in funding these wonderful learning tools.”

Funded Dec 18, 2014My class and I are so thankful to you for your generosity. The students were so excited to receive the organizer. Which we use as a mailbox. As soon as they saw it they knew what it was. They all wanted to know who was going to be the mail carrier. The responsibility of the mail carrier is to place homework and any important information into the slots. Each slot is labeled with the child's number so they have their own space. This makes the children feel a sense of ownership and independence in having a place to call their own. Receiving this organizer has shown my students responsibility and organization. They are responsible everyday to check their mailbox for any important information that must go home. Since receiving this organizer I have received homework and letters back. In the past they would just throw their homework in their desk and forget about it. I have noticed since we got this organizer my students grades have improved they are taking home their study guides and homework and practicing for exams. I don't know how to thank you enough for your generosity. It really means a lot to us and made things easier for both my students and I.”

Nowhere to Relax
Funded Aug 26, 2014My class and I are unbelievable grateful to have benefited from your generosity. The students were so excited to have a new rug to sit on. As many teachers will tell you a rug is a wonderful tool to use for teaching and learning. Students often find the rug as a safe place to share their feelings and come together as a group. My students are a wonderful diverse group who enjoy the benefits of having a classroom rug. This rug is where we can all come together as a group where small group can be instructed or where individuals can read. When a classroom has a rug it adds warmth and creates a sense of unity and becomes the central location for the students. We sincerely appreciate your kindness and thoughtfulness in funding this wonderful learning tool.”

Choking on Chalk Dust
Funded Dec 27, 2010Thank you so much for your generosity in giving this amazing gift to my classroom. Before we received this unbelievable whiteboard, the students had so much difficulty with the chalkboard. Many of the children have asthma and the chalk dust was unhealthy for them. They also had such a difficult time reading what was written on the board. They definitely weren't able to see anything when it was written with colored chalk. Now the students are able to see everything! Plus all the information can be color coded and there are even dry erase markers that are highlighters! The students love coming up to the board (and it is so much easier for a teacher to write on.) All the other teachers who come in to the classroom are jealous! Thank you so much again for your unbelievable kindness. This has made teaching and learning so much more meaningful (and healthier!) for the students.”

Funded Aug 26, 2010Thank you so much for your generosity! My students absolutely love their new rug. If not for your philanthropy, my students would have had to sit on a cold, hard floor for our morning meeting. The rug fits perfectly with our classroom theme (fishing for a good book)! It is so bright and cheerful and really makes the classroom so inviting. We constantly use the rug throughout the day. It is the perfect place for small group instruction. Students can do partner or small group work on the rug. Students use the rug to read books. We use the rug during center time and we always use our rug for morning meetings. The rug that you have given us has made a classroom into OUR classroom and my students and I greatly appreciate it. Thank you again for your charitable giving, it has truly had a tremendous impact on the lives of teacher and student alike.”
