This project would help my students' significantly close their learning gaps in reading and math. The addition of two iPad minis with protective covers would give my students a much needed boost of practice in the areas of reading and math. My students would be able to access district-purchased programs as well as different apps to help improve their skills.Students who are confident in their reading and math abilities will be ready to face the challenges of higher education and the workplace. This means we have to give them the ability to learn both independently and collaboratively. It means turning our focus away from the traditional model we may be more comfortable with to more real-world contexts. It also means teaching my students to utilize the technology that exists today so that they will be able to comfortably incorporate it in their educational journey.
