Creative Constructions: Transforming Ideas Into Realities
Funded Aug 9, 2019Thank you so much for funding this project. As a STEAM school, we believe in giving students frequent opportunities to create and innovate as they seek solutions to real world problems. We strive to develop students' skills in these areas because we understand that creativity, innovation, and problem solving are key competencies for success in a highly technical, global society.
The Creative Constructions project has provided our students with tools and materials to construct their own designs. Students are excited about using the MakeDo scissors, cutters, screws and screwdrivers to build their projects. Without your generous donation, student resources would be much more limited.
Thank you again for funding the Creative Constructions project. We appreciate the opportunities this grant has made available to our students.”

Funded Aug 23, 2014We are so appreciative of your donations to our classroom. Because of your generosity, we were able to get three new Samsung 3 Tablets for student use. The students are so excited about using the devices! The addition of the three tablets brings us closer to our goal of a 1:1 ratio of students to devices.
Our students use the tablets in many ways. We use them to access web tools and apps that enhance learning. For example, students are using the tablets to access digital content through our new learning management system. The learning management system is an online program that delivers instructional content and resources to students. Students also use the new tablets to participate in interactive learning activities with Nearpod and Classflow. Additionally, students work collaboratively with each other to research information and present multimedia presentations. We are looking forward to many other possibilities with our new technology!
With the additional three tablets, learning has become more personalized and exciting for our students. Student engagement and achievement has improved. We are very grateful to have our new devices.”
