Our students are unique learners! They work so hard to improve their behavior and participate in school! Many come from disadvantaged homes and lack external resources to make progress. I have been dedicated to providing my students with opportunities for success with participating in a classroom setting feeling comfortable, respected and supported! These items will assist our classroom in becoming a flexible seating environment to increase student participation in academics and decrease negative behaviors surrounding location for class work demands for elementary students with autism and emotional disturbance in a full time special education setting with an end goal of modifying behavior to support re-entry to a less restrictive environment.
