New tables will promote a community atmosphere in my classroom. My kiddos will have more opportunities to collaborate, share ideas, and help each other not only with group work but independent work as well.
Tables allow more inquiry-based and hands on learning in the classroom. I'm excited to implement more group work and allow more student led conversations.
Tables also take up less space which will give access to more area in the room for center/stations activities. Tables will provide flat surfaces for science experiments, art projects, and math games. It will also be easier to implement academic based competition games.
