I would like my students to play math games that build on the concepts being taught in class. I want them to be able to play and talk about math with their peers. This will give them real life social experiences that they can use in and out of math class. My hope is that my students learn to see math as a natural function like reading. I want them see math as a way to solve problems in their lives, as well as the flexibility of numbers in games and extracurricular activities. By giving students the opportunity to see math as fun, they become more engaged in class and with their peers.
