This is my 30th year teaching and I still love it . Most of my years have been in a kindergarten classroom. I personally think this age is the best. They come to school every day excited and eager to learn . Their enthusiasm for learning inspires me every day to be the best teacher I can be for them. My home life is also very busy. My husband and I have a farm with 60 sheep, 8 beef cows, a llama, a horse , a Great Pyrenees, and a very large English Mastiff. My favorite time of the year with our animals is spring time when all the lambs are born. We even keep a baby monitor beside our bed , so we can help with the lambing. A baby lamb or two usually visits kindergarten. My daughter Allie is in college working on her doctorate in physical therapy. My husband and I are so proud of her and her accomplishments . She knows the impact one can have when they reach out to help others.
