The materials that I am asking for already have a home. I have 4 large tables, and have designated a different seat at each table so that each day the students can come in and choose where they will sit for the day. Children need to be able to have choice in the classroom. My goal is to have enough seating options for them to choose from other than sitting in a regular chair at a table. The reading pillows will be placed in the library however, the students' will be able to move them around the room to where ever they would like to sit. One of my tables will be lowered so that if the students would like to sit on a pillow, they have the table at their level so that they can still work. The student's will be able to use the wobble chairs and yoga balls as their chair if they feel like they need a little movement to focus. Studies show that a little bit of movement can help them focus in class.
