All young children have a strong desire to gather knowledge. Some learners need alternatives to a traditional classroom chair. Certain students need to move to learn and control unproductive school behaviors. Giving the "wiggly" students the opportunity to move while learning helps that student and creates a successful classroom. environment. It is so amazing to give a struggling student the opportunity to learn by providing him or her with the freedom to move. Giving this opportunity not only allows academic success but provides a positive school environment. I feel that it is my responsibility to give all of my students a solid positive beginning to their learning journey.
