I have the privilege to teach the English portion of the Portuguese Dual Immersion program to two amazing 6th grade classes. I taught these same kids in the 3rd grade, and I really love to see how much they've grown and how they continue to grow. They bring a lot of creative energy into my classroom, and we have a lot of fun together. I love using Whole Brain Teaching strategies with my students for engagement purposes, and I absolutely love integrating the arts into my teaching. I'm pretty sure my kids love it, too.
