Calling All Scientists!

Wow! What an amazing experience this has been. This past summer I had this idea about wanting to have my students wear lab coats for science just to change things up in the classroom and for them to have this experience of what a scientist might feel like. I didn't know how I was going to make this dream a reality until one day while on my computer and searching I found this website and thought, "Why not give it a try?" Here we are six months later wearing lab coats for science.

When I first took the lab coats out of the box, my students were excited about "dressing up" for science. They felt special especially when another teacher would walk into our room and make a comment about how cool it was they got to wear lab coats for science. It also made them feel unique when other fifth graders saw them and asked their teacher why they didn't have lab coats for science.

Without donors like you, many classrooms across the United States would go without these fun and, hopefully, inspiring resources.
