  • Cozy Crochet

    Funded Feb 14, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donations. The students in our school started to explore something new and are truly developing a life long skill. The students were so excited to see all the different materials and variety of colors they get to pick from. They enjoy not only the time with the teachers, but enjoy creating something they get to keep and wear. The students started making scarfs to have next school year and wear for the fall and winter. Others are practicing different stitches and designs. We have two students now who are teaching other students. It's truly amazing watching the students take part in something very different then what they are used to. Crochet club has offered another activity for the students that don't want to always play a sport and would rather a peaceful activity indoors.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Jaret

  • Help Make Returning From Maternity Leave Easier

    Funded Apr 1, 2023

The materials provided such as the lamenting sheets gave me resources for my classroom that won't break or fall apart. Things that last means not having to redo them every year. Laminating sheets also provided center materials for our students. Pencils are a major priority in our class. The students love that they never have to worry about not having a pencil. The ink supplied gave me access to colorful posters and anchor charts where my students can reference them throughout the day. Thank you so much for the materials. It truly made a difference coming back from maternity leave to not have to worry about class materials.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Jaret

I am in desperate need of a new color printer and ink for my class. I have resorted to emailing colleagues who will print for me and then I make my way to the office to put work in for copies. I usually print homework for my students so they don't waste time copying and can get right to work. I also like to print class notes from my lesson as a resource for students and parents to use for homework. I also use my personal printer to generate their final products that will be published in our school bulletin board. At this time, students are printing their science projects for the science fair, bulletin board projects created on powerpoint slides and pictures taken, all in black and white. My class also enjoys publishing their own problems and solutions using class laptops but they also would like colors to be included once it is printed. These supplies are not readily,if at all available. With your help, I can provide what I need for my students. Every second counts!
