STEAM Me Up!
Funded Nov 13, 2024My students and I wholeheartedly appreciate the STEM materials you donated to us. My students were super excited to open and use the straws, magnetic tiles and the brain flakes.
I love to see how creative my student's can get when using the materials. My little ones are having an amazing time using the brain flakes to connect and make things like trees and flowers. With the magnetic tiles, they have made dinosaurs, houses, cars and castles, just to name a few. When using the straws and constructors, they make both two and three dimensional shapes. They physically feel how many sides and how many vertices their shape has. They also make things like houses and buildings.
Once again, we greatly appreciate you funding our connecting cube!”

Funded Nov 27, 2023My students and I wholeheartedly appreciate the connecting cubes you donated to us. The students no longer have to struggle connecting our original cubes that didn't fit into each other.
My little ones are having an amazing time using the connecting cubes to solve addition and subtraction problems. These cubes makes it visually appealing and helpful to see how two groups of objects come together in addition and how they can take away cubes to subtract.
In addition they use the cubes to make shapes and physical feel how many sides and how many vertices a shape has.
Once again, we greatly appreciate you funding our connecting cube!”

Funded Oct 11, 2023Thank you so much for your generous donation and consideration! These donated resources are invaluable to my classroom! My students are thrilled to use these resources every day. It was so fun to see them role play while using their newly language.
The vests were a hit!
The bins are great for storing their puppets and other toys that they need to play games in our classroom.
Also they were so excited to have their birthday crowns. They feel so special on their birthday!
Thank you for making the start our year so AMAZING!!"”

Funded Aug 12, 2023Thank you so much for your generous donation and consideration! These donated resources are invaluable to my classroom! My students and I are thrilled to use these resources every single day. So many of my students cannot afford to buy the school supplies needed. This truly has made a huge difference in their lives.
The large pencils are the perfect fit for tiny hands. They use them throughout the day to write and draw.
The pencils grip has been a life saver for the few children who are having a tough time holding a pencil.
The pencil pouches are great for storing math manipulatives that they need to play math games in our classroom.
The color coded folders are so helpful as well. They are able to put away their work in their respective folder according to subject. It has taken them the whole month to read their names but now they can find their folder and store their work. It made a such a difference that all the folders are the same and no one feels bad because one folder has designs and others don't. Thank you for making the start our year so AMAZING!!"”

Funded May 12, 2023Thank you so much for your generous donation. With the headphones students can use their iPads freely without interrupting anyone. It has made differentiation so much easier.
The children love getting on Google Classroom to work on activities. The activities are colorful and purposeful.
The children especially like the math activities because it's very interactive and they get to practice what we're learning in the classroom. It also helps our students who are learning from home to have the same activities as the children who are in school. Once again, thank you so much for helping my students move forward in their learning.”

Funded Dec 31, 2021There aren't enough or the right words to express my sincerest gratitude for your donation. I know this year has been tough for everyone. I love that the kids can come to school and have time to take breathers and relax during the day. They use these tools everyday after lunch and again in the middle of the day. It is the one thing they ask for everyday. Having these tools for them really helps them refocus and reengage with me during the day. Every student has a favorite tool. Some LOVE the squishy ball and others prefer the pop-its. Then there's a select few that only use the putty. I love that they have the choice of what will help ground them so they could continue through the day. Again, I want to thank you so much on behalf of my students. Your generosity is wholeheartedly appreciated!”

Centers for Maximum Learning
Funded Dec 28, 2020I want to take this opportunity to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your donation. These materials are super useful in my classroom because we are not able to have centers the way we normally do. Now, at least, they can participate in safe activities.
Having these whiteboards, erasers and markers are great! Not only can I use them to check how they are doing during my math lessons but they can use the boards to draw and to practice writing their alphabet letters.
Also, the boxes have been helpful in keeping materials for lessons by their side.
Again, thank you for helping us during this time. My students really appreciate to have some type of normalcy. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!”

Funded Nov 9, 2020There aren't enough or the right words to express my sincerest gratitude for your donation. I know this year has been tough for everyone. I love that the kids can come to school even if it's on a part-time basis. What I didn't bank on was the fact that I would teach and the students would learn under cold conditions. Although we get heat, once the windows are open, it gets cold quickly (we have to keep our windows open for ventilation purposes). It truly breaks my heart to see them cold. Once we received the box, my students were elated. The students were able to choose their favorite color for the hat and gloves. I even had some left over that I was able to give them to several students whom I noticed never came with hats or gloves. Again, I want to thank you so much on behalf of my students. Your generosity is wholeheartedly appreciated!”
