Military Students Succeeding While Parents Are Deployed

     It is with an extreme amount of gratitude that I join my class in writing this letter of thanks.  My class and I are very grateful for your donations that allowed us to receive the materials for our classroom.  The materials have provided a meaningful learning experience that has impacted the mastery and retention of reading and math skills and concepts for my 3rd grade students.     Since my class has received the reading and math instructional materials, my class has excelled in these academic areas.  The materials have provided hands on experiences that have resulted in an increase of enthusiasm and skill retention.  My students really enjoyed learning while participating in the small groups with the use of the materials.  I have experienced an increase in test scores and a sense of cooperation among my students.

     The success that we have experienced is due to your generosity and willingness to assist students to succeed.  The learning experiences have assisted my students with a positive stimulus that aides in an excitement about learning.  This has equipped my students with just what they need to escape the emotional stress of their deployed parent(s).  The materials have been a source of an instructional reinforcement that provides a fun learning experience.  Thanks so much for helping make a positive influence available for my students.
