Funded Dec 18, 2023Thank you for donating to our project "It Matters What I'm Doing! We are extremely grateful for the donations and receiving the materials.
First Grade students were so excited to see the boxes and then to find out we were going to get to use the new materials! First Graders loved the calming colors and the sturdiness! They especially were so excited to be able to use them right away. The privacy boards are tall enough to provide privacy but also first graders can still above the boards to get reassurance or to check in with the teacher.
First Grade's next step or project will be to provide organizational items to store our beautiful boards and other materials.”

Funded May 3, 2021Thank you so much for contributing to my classroom project. I felt truly blessed beyond measure for the generosity that was bestowed among my students.
It was amazing to see the joy on their faces completely light up when they saw their gift bags on their desks. These gift bags contained supplies that will help them to engage in learning this summer. It was an incredible moment of pure joy in a year that has disappointed them so many times. I can not truly express the gratitude and thanks for your generosity!”

Funded Jul 24, 2019Thank you for your generous donation to my classroom's safe place.
The students are really enjoying the space and are already beginning to choose the space to work on being safe and comfortable in the classroom. I took several days to introduce the space and encouraging students to visit the space. When students visited the space, they were encouraged to investigate the different tools that are in the space. Students were excited and many went over to just focus on the different positive items that are available.
Many of my students live in a constant state of anxiety or trauma. Your donation really has helped my students to remain in the classroom and have an outlet that will provide them with a way to handle the out of control feelings they come to school with.
I can not fully express my gratitude and thanks on behalf of my amazing students!”

Counting on Math
Funded Nov 13, 2018My students were so overjoyed to hear our math project was funded. They were even more excited to see the materials being delivered.
In the classroom, we have enjoyed using the class Rehkenrack to help show our thinking to our friends. We love that some of the beads are hidden which helps to extend our thinking more. In addition, we have been using the number talk cards to help us compose and decompose numbers to build our fluency in math. The number talk cards are helpful because the number strings are broken up in easy and graduate to hard.
Thank you so much for donating to my classroom! We appreciate the amazing materials!”

The students loved the brand new materials because some of the materials we didn't have in the classroom. They now had materials to double check their own answers.
My next project will be focused on flexible seating. I would love for my classroom to be more cozy to accommodate student's learning. I am currently researching items that will help students feel more comfortable and also be more successful in their academic needs.”

My students love the new rug. They came in to the surprise and were overjoyed that it was so colorful and had a spot for everyone.
It made them feel so special to know that they would have their own personal space on the rug. It made listening so much easier for them because they now felt safe knowing they have their own space. My students struggle with personal space and the new rug provides borders to help them learn personal space and also respect it.
In addition, it matches our classroom colors which is just is just amazing!”
