  • Basic Supplies to Start Our Year!

    Funded Aug 16, 2023

Thank you for your generous donations. The stickers will make great classroom incentives for my hard working students. We will use the white craft bags to help with holiday celebrations. We will also use the holiday stickers to help decorate the craft bags. The cleaning wipes will help keep our classroom clean and tidy. These materials will help us have a wonderful start to a new school year. I can't wait to welcome my new students into the classroom this week with these new materials. Your support has made this project come to life!”

Thank you for supporting this project. My students were so excited to see their books today. We will be sending them home soon so they can practice reading over the summer. This book is engaging and keeps my students wanting to read. These books are a great way to end a wonderful school year. Thank you for your generous donations. This project would not be possible without donors such as yourselves. These books will help make the end of the school year very special for my students and keep them motivated to read in first grade!”

  • Headphones Please!

    Funded Apr 2, 2023

We received our headphones today! Thank you for your generous donations. My students will be using their headphones during iPad use time. We use iPads to go on different apps such as Lexia, Zearn, Myon, and First in Math. The headphones will help students stay more focused on their independent work. Students will be engaged in their learning and have the ability to concentrate better. iPad time occurs during our response to intervention times. We have self paced games for students to reinforce skills with and the teacher can work with small groups of students on much needed skills. Thank you for your support!”

  • Magic Boards For Writing!

    Funded Apr 6, 2023

Thank you for supporting this project. We recently began a new reading program called Orton Gillingham. This program requires kinesthetic activities.

We will use the magic boards to complete kinesthetic activities when writing our letters. Magic boards are engaging and provide a hands on experience for my kindergarten students.

This project allows each student to have their own personal boards. My students will be provided with essential letter recognition and formation activities when using the magic boards.

Thank you for your generous donation.”

  • Notebooks and Pencils Please!

    Funded Oct 21, 2022

Thank you for supporting this project. The primary writing journals and pencils will help support my students' writing skills in the classroom. The primary journals will allow students to have proper space for both writing and drawing. My students who are ready to write words will be supported as well as my students who are using drawings to convery their responses to writing prompts. The pencils are perfect for my early learners. They do not break easily and include an eraser for my students to begin using. Thank you for your generous donations.”

    Mrs. Loga

This project will make a tremendous impact on my students' lives. I want my students to enjoy learning. This project will allow for students to acquire the English language through multiple means of exposure. Headphones will help students with vocabulary, sight words, and fluency. I will use these materials to help with Literacy and Math intervention centers. Students can improve their skills through these standards based games. Without funding, I fear that my students will not have access to these educational products and struggle with success as a result of this. Please help us bring back the enjoyment of learning despite being in a school of high poverty.
