I can't wait to tell my students after Thanksgiving break that we are getting a new easel and pencil sharpener! Our current easel is not very sturdy and everything we use during circle time won't fit on it. Our current pencil sharpener eats our pencils. The two new items will make our classroom a happier place for learning! Thank you so very much.”

Having teaching tools at the ready is key to an effective classroom. Children go through pencils like they are eating them for snacks! We will be sharpening our pencils so we are always ready to learn and work. The teaching easel is key to gathering on the rug for learning time. An easel helps me teach shared reading and modeling all new skills. It provides a place for student tools used on the rug for practicing new skills. The easel also provides a surface for students to share what they've learned with their classmates. Easels are definitely a multi use tool in a classroom and oh so helpful!
