  • Miraculous Reading Journey

    Funded Aug 15, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donations! My first and second graders will be so excited to have the chance to read their very first chapter book! I am looking forward to many conversations about characters, hearing their thoughts and inputs, and growing their sense of accomplishment through this story.”

  • Artists in Training

    Funded Feb 8, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donations to my students. My second graders were over the moon when the materials came in and there is not a day that goes by when I'm not asked about them.

We are getting ready to use the canvases and fun art sticks for an open house project. The theme is spring and I am so excited to see what they come up with. I'm ready for a classroom full of bright colors, flowers, insects, and kites.

The knowledge and excitement they will gain with these materials us priceless and wouldn't be possible without you.”

  • Reading Is Fun-damental!

    Funded May 9, 2023

Thank you so much for these materials. My students love reading these books and I love watching them finding new stories to love. These books have taught us valuable social-emotional skills like compassion, friendship, and empathy.

I have created lessons with these books in times where my class finds themselves in social problems. We did a whole unit about friendship and lessons were so fun to teach. Students were put in situations to share how they can be a good friend, how to interview a friend and were able to reflect on friendship as a whole.”

  • Creative Engineers

    Funded Aug 7, 2022

Thank you so much for the generous donation and providing my students with these new building materials.

Each morning we have STEM time. It's a great way to start our day, slowly waking up our brains and getting ready for our day of learning. These new materials have been so exciting for the students and are requested each day. I have seen such an increase in their creativity, problem solving skills, and personal relationships during this time. The students are more apt at solving conflicts between each other and work through a building struggle. These skills have carried over into other academic subjects and on the playground.”

  • Read All About It!

    Funded Jan 29, 2022

Thank you for your generous donations so this project could be funded. My second graders are so excited for reading and learning. These books put the biggest smiles on their faces and they could not wait to dig into the titles.

These students are experiencing their first normal school year. There are so many experiences they have missed out on due to not being at school. I have made it my mission to fill our days with new things to not only get them excited about school but

also to challenge and meet all their needs.

If I could have recorded their faces when I opened the boxes I would have. We appreciate these books more than you know!”

  • Sight Word Masters

    Funded Jan 28, 2021

Thank you so much! With this 100 dollar gift card to teachers pay teachers I was able to purchase so many products to enhance my students and their education.

For my first graders, they are able to practice their sight words and also their reading comprehension. These comprehension checks are able to meet the students where they are in their reading journey. In just a few weeks I am seeing so much progress!

For my second graders, they are able to practice their comprehension with monthly passages. These comprehension sheets help the students find text evidence and really use thinking skills.

I appreciate your generosity so much!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Linch

  • Pastel Party

    Funded Dec 28, 2020

Thank you so much for funding this project. I was able to provide my first and second grade students with a set of water colors, construction paper, some play-doh, markers, and a bag to keep everything in. They were so excited to receive these packages and I love getting pictures of what they are painting and drawing while at home.

We have really enjoyed being able to see each other through Google Classroom. When we are able to have an art time together it is so special to see their creativity bloom from my screen to theirs.

Thank you again, this time is so hard for these little ones. It is so nice for me to be able to give them some brightness and help them feel less alone. That happened because of you.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Linch

  • Books, Books, Books!

    Funded Oct 6, 2020

Thank you so much for these valuable books you have so graciously given my students. First and second graders love reading, it is the time where they are learning to read and becoming independent readers. It is such an exciting time for them and I strive to find books that are not only engaging but can offer some teaching moments for myself.

I teach kindness and acceptance in my classroom. I want each child to feel successful and to do that, they need to feel that they are accepted for who they are. I chose a kindness pack to be able to teach and show perspectives of characters who are not like us, to broaden their thinking.

The other area of importance I focused on for this project was STEM and STEAM. Those areas are truly the future of the world. These books help the students see a character with an idea or a career they had never thought of before.

Again, thank you so much. My students are so excited for these titles.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Linch

  • STEM Excitement!

    Funded Aug 14, 2019

Thank you so much for the amazing STEM materials! My students were so excited when the Amazon boxes came into class, it was just like Christmas morning! I was able to split the class into three groups and have each one open a box. If only I could share the sounds of enjoyment they had!

We will use these materials for STEM time on Fridays. I already saw so much creativity, problem solving, teamwork, and critical thinking in the small time we explored them. I cannot wait to see what else they are able to create.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Linch

My students need the opportunity to work and create in a quiet, private environment. These materials will encourage my students to create and do their best minimizing distractions. I have some students who get easily overwhelmed by noise and others around them. These partitions will ease them and help them to be successful. These students cannot do their very best without a quiet place. All students have the right to be able to work in their own quiet, private place. A lot of these students have so much going on in their home lives the classroom needs to be a sanctuary for them.
