The resources I’ve requested will allow me to work in small and whole class groups. Being able to use hands-on materials like the tubs, reading games and flash cards will help provide a more unique experience to their learning and teach specific skills my students may have missed due to a shortened school year and/or being quarantined. These resources will help me bridge the gap in my students’ reading skills that I’m trying to close quickly. I will not only be attending to their academic needs but also their social and emotional education through books and conversations. In a time such as this, being able to have such resources will allow me to tend to my students on a more personal level and helping to create a safe learning environment.

About my class
