We Can Make a Difference!

Thank you for being a part of our classroom community through your generous donation. The resources and supplies you donated were an integral part of our Global Awareness--We Can Make A Difference project. My students couldn't contain their excitement every time I opened the boxes of materials. They couldn't wait to get their hand on them. My students enjoy reading/researching and having literature based discussions. Therefore, the books we received were a huge hit! The books were very helpful for our research on Ecology and to generate deeper and further questions on the topic. The art supplies were used to create bottle cap magnets which were sold at our school carnival and at the Open House to raise money for ecological cause.

I know that my students will continue to do their part to help the earth by reducing, reusing, repurposing and recycling. They feel empowered by having gained more knowledge and are excited to share what they have learned with their friends and family.
