I cannot wait to see the excitement on my students’ faces when they enter my classroom and see options for seating that go beyond the too big, hard, plastic chairs. I imagine that it won’t take long to engage students in a guided reading/ word work lesson at my table with the magnetic letters and wobble seats so that students have the freedom to move while they learn. I look forward to seeing students get lost in chapter books while sitting in the comfortable floor seats. I love the idea of offering flexible seating to meet the needs of all of my students.
