A new year means new ideas. Maker spaces is hands on learning with a goal and launch. Students will work with other students to create an open ended task then "launch" to an audience. Team work, technology, and unlimited creativity needed!!!! In my class we are redefining playtime and centers. Maker Spaces offer exploration in the classroom. Maker Spaces have creativity as a priority in the classroom. It's a shame that imagination and creativity are left to chance in the classroom -- lets bring it back with a goal in mind. Let's allow the kids to hold each other accountable and work together to create open ended task.
