My students really need more books such as Pete The Cat, Rainbow Fish, and How to Catch a Leprechaun for the classroom. These books that I have chosen are relate-able and interesting to them. These are books that can be reread over and over again. These books are great for read-alouds, the classroom library, and close reads! Our classroom library is in need of some help! Most of the books are super old and falling apart. My students have requested that I get new books that they like reading. My goal is to provide books for my students that they will pick up and read on their own. I want reading to be fun and enjoyable.
