Having the set of iPads will allow for different structures of learning in my classroom. I can train and then allow my higher performing students to independently use them as a research tool. They can write and then report their findings. For my students who require visuals we can download pictures to help them make connections. With the iPads, we could also take pictures that show authentic objects that they can identify, define, describe, write about, and share with their classmates. It will increase collaboration, as they work in groups sharing information. There are apps available for every type of learner, and for every subject. This would allow me to have activities for both my highest performing and most struggling students. I can also integrate subjects across the curriculum.
