I always envision my classroom to be fun, engaging, and positive. My fun classroom evolves from the interests of my students. I observe their reactions to my lessons and we talk story about it. I learn so much about them through observation and talking/discussing and am able to make adjustments to those lessons. My classroom is engaging in a sense that I'd like to provide my students with many supplies that they can manipulate. This need is the greatest and most expensive for me. I will go out and purchase things that my students need, and it adds up. Through these supplies most importantly, I hope to engage my students with each other to share, communicate ideas, and to show what they've learned in many ways. Donors Choose is a big help, if the project gets funded. If not, I most likely will make the purchase myself. I will do whatever it takes to be an effective teacher for my students.
