I currently teach a combination classroom with 3rd and 4th graders. I recently purchased a new table for my classroom for flexible seating. The students love the new seating options, but they are in need of flexible seating chairs. In the future, I am hoping to add another table to the classroom so that each student has the option to sit at the table. The students love being able to sit at the table so they can spread out what they are working on. They also find the seating more comfortable. I would like to continue to add to their flexible seating options and individualize them. I believe that these flexible seating options also help the students in the classroom who benefit from being able to move around and stand during classwork.
