As a research based school, these Kindles would allow for more students to access technology throughout the day. Currently our classroom is sharing a Chrome cart among multiple classrooms, making it difficult to use technology for many students at a time. I also encourage students to use technology for literacy tools, such as online books and apps. I would like students to be able to pick up a Kindle and read online as well. We use technology during our literacy stations and these tablets would help incorporate more technology into these stations without being limited. This would also be very beneficial to any English Language Learners to have books read to them online through various apps I intend to use. Technology is growing and I am hoping to have my students grow with it and become the innovative students I know they can be.
