  • We Need Books For Our Health And Wellness

    Thank you so very much for the gift of Amazon gift cards. My students and I are now scouring the web site looking for the perfect books. We are looking for a variety of books, that will reach all the different reading levels in the classroom.

    There are a couple of wonderful books about vegetables that really appeal to my students.

    I love the way my children are so engaged in their discussions about a health lifestyle and great eating habits. We have even started to bring healthy snacks to eat during the school day.

  • Financial Literacy

    OMG! My children are going to go crazy when I let them know that we are well on our way to an amazing library of books that teach about our health and well being.

    Children truly need these little perks in their education. It energizes the subject being taught, in this case it completely involves my students.

    Being able to give my students choices in their book selection makes the subject engaging. They now have a voice in what they read and learn. That is a priceless gift to all of my fantastic students.”

  • Fuel For Our Bodies

    There is not anything better than snacks entering a classroom. Children snap to attention, and everyones eyes on are fixed on all the boxes of cookies and chips.

    These items were a perfect addition to our class.

    My children truly needed the extra "fuel for their bodies" to help them through the long, long school days.

    Honestly, when I handed out the chocolate chip cookies you would have thought Christmas arrived early. Everyone was revitalized and we were able to keep working.

  • Almost as Good as a Museum!

    Thank you for funding my project. I was a little disappointed that they ran out of the Native American diorama, but have received other interesting items. We are going to learn to fly airplanes and make cars that move using the power of a balloon instead.

    My children were so excited to see all the wonderful STEM activities we received.

    I was also able to get plants for them.

    But this project is close to my heart and I appreciate your support. I have been considering making a diorama from scratch.

  • Basic Supplies Needed!

    I can not express how wonderful it is to have a case of paper towels and tissues at our disposal. Yesterday, we made slime, and many paper towels were used in the clean up. Its a great feeling not to have to tell everyone not to overuse the paper towels.

    We are entering the season when everyone catches a cold. I have placed boxes of tissues all around the classroom. Even though we all wear masks, I have a feeling those tissues will be handy. You would not believe how many tissues a class will use.

  • Slime Is The Best!

    I really need to thank you once again. We made slime today in class and my class was thrilled beyond belief. I truly love doing STEM activities on Fridays in school. It makes all the hard work we do during the week worth it.

    This year I have a number of students who do not speak English. Making slime encourages them to speak in a way that is fun and non threatening.

    The slime pack we had had a multitude of colors that sparkled. Plus, it was easy for all my students to achieve success.

  • Microsoft Surface Keyboard Needed For Our Mental Health!

    Thank you so much for the awesome keyboard for our Microsoft Surface Pro. My students were thrilled when they saw the red color of the keyboard. It felt almost inspirational to us.

    I already have a few students who have started journal writing on the computer. It is so much easier for them to type using the keyboard. The more that I can remove frustrations, the better my children react and feel.

    A keyboard may seem as if it is a simple item, but this keyboard has brought much happiness to a small group of children.
