  Books are such a necessity in a classroom. Children need to physically hold a book, and be able to easily share a book with their friends.

  Computers have a place in education, but really there isn't anything better than grabbing a book to read.

• Snacks are Truly Needed!

  Thank you once again for all the awesome snacks. My students were thrilled when we ALL were able to have a tasty bag of chips. It felt good not to have any child left out of snack time. That has happened more times then I would like to say.

  The licorice has proved to be a popular item amongst my children. It is easy to give them a piece while we are still working. Just the burst of flavor needed to complete a task.

  Snacks are such an important time during the school day. Children shouldn't be expected to go for hours without some sort of snack break.

• iPad Needed For Research!

  Thank you for the brand new iPad. My class was thrilled when we received this computer. We are currently doing research on famous women.

  The iPad allows the little hands of my students to easily navigate the web. Also, I am able to download apps that direct them to great websites.

  iPads are great for younger children, as they all seem to have grown up using their parents phones.

  I can hardly wait to see the fabulous work the class will produce. Research has definitely taking on a new energy.”

• Chromebook For Financial Literacy

  Thank you! Thank you! Our class has welcomed the new chrombook with open arms. We definitely needed this computer to continue with our on line learning. Many of our programs work through google classroom and the chromebook is perfect for that activity. iPads just don't link as well with google.

  Currently a student is using the computer to practice reading. I simply adore watching my students so engaged in reading and comprehension. They all want to use the computer!

• We Need Books For Our Health And Wellness!

  My students are thrilled to be able to "buy" books to encourage our healthy eating habits. Amazon gift cards allow them to choose books, not only at their interest level, but more importantly at their learning level. Everyone has access to learning which is the whole point of this project.

  We have already started our personal libraries, and I noticed the children really are developing a love of reading.

  We are truly appreciative of this gift. It will have an effect for a lifetime.

• We Need an Apple iMac Desktop

  I can not express the excitement and appreciation that my students and I are feeling at the moment the Apple iMac desktop computer arrived. It now has a very happy home in our newly designated computer area.

  The color of this computer, blue, is so pretty. My children seem fascinated that the computer isn't black or grey.

  We set up the computer in about two minutes, you have to love Apple. At the moment we are decided what our first project is going to be, and making a schedule for the use of the computer.

• Snack Time

  Well I can hardly explain the joy on my students faces when our snacks started appearing in our classroom. A couple of boxes of assorted snacks was just the perfect ending to our week.

  Snacks should really just be a given in any school system. It is a burden for some families to provide snacks. Those children without anything to eat are always a little put off when it is snack time. I always try to have something in the classroom, such as animal crackers, but nothing truly beats a bag of chips.

  Yipee! Thank you so very much for the Amazon gift cards. My children are busy selecting the books that they feel would be best for their learning experience. I love to give children a choice, it makes them feel a part of their education.

  I have also allowed children to choose books that are simply "feel good" books. Sometimes you just have to get lost in reading a book to make yourself feel mentally fit.

  We are knee deep in learning how to live a healthy life and these books that Amazon is profiting, through your generous gift, is a tremendous help.
