  • Cozy Our Classroom

    Funded Jan 19, 2024

I cannot express how thankful I am for your generosity. My students are going to be so excited. They love playing in the block center and reading in the library area. Thanks again I can't wait for the rugs to arrive. I enjoy the look on my students' faces when I show them new equipment. My students do not have much. So when I am able to introduce them to something new I love it. They are great kids who just need a break. With all the problems in there lives I like to feel like I'm there for them always whether it is in life, school, or sports.”

  • Ink, Ink, Ink

    Funded Oct 26, 2022

I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful donation to my classroom. My students and fellow colleague will enjoy having ink for our printers. The students have enjoyed exploring the different images we have printed to create puppet stories and activity sheets. My sweet kindergarten students even took their learning to the next level by bringing their favorite stories to life. Learning has come to life for my sweet learners because of generous people like you”

  • Learn Here, Learn Anywhere

    Funded Sep 17, 2020

I am so thankful for your generous contribution to making our class a little more manageable during these difficult times. Since receiving the MacBook Pro it has become so much smoother. I have been able to meet with my students virtually, prep for upcoming lessons, and so much more.

These are extremely difficult times and I am currently working on trying to make them more manageable. I still have students without devices and my paraprofessional also doesn't have a device. However we are all doing our best to make things continue rolling as best as possible.

Once again I will like to say thank you so much for helping us start on the path to continue learning everywhere.”

  • Building in a Safe Area

    Funded May 5, 2020

I am so excited to have received a dual language rug for our classroom. However with the pandemic we are facing now I will not be able to set up the rug until further notice. We have been advised by our principal that we can't have rugs in the classroom till we are not dealing with these circumstances.

However I am looking forward to place the rug for my students and watching them enjoy the vibrant colors and accessibility to the dual language. All while playing and reading safely in a cozy area.”

  • Bilingual! Bi-Literate! Bi-Cultural!

    Funded May 5, 2020

Once again thank you for your kind donations. I am so excited to see my students come in on Monday and see the new collection of books we have in a variety of languages. We now have a stocked library with both Spanish and English books. I have sorted the books in the library why genre and subjects of interest.

We now currently will have two actively working libraries in our room. This is ideal for social distance in the classroom. I miss the students dearly and cant wait to see how they enjoy reading and exploring new things through books.”

  • Let's Get Ready for the Next School Year

    Funded Jun 24, 2019

I would like to expend my upmost gratitude for your generous donation to our classroom. The students as well as myself were so excited to have all the supplies needed to start on day one. By the first day we were able to paint, color and make collages.

The students are also loving their seat sacks. They have been using them to store papers books and notebooks that they will be taking home at the end of the day. The seat sacks have also been very convenient for me. Any flyers or notices that I have to send home I place inside the seat sacks and children take them home.

Once again thank you so much for bringing a smile to our faces and supplying our rooms with much needed supplies.”

  • Manipulatives to the Rescue!

    Funded Feb 28, 2019

I am upmost thankful for your generous donation to our classroom. The students absolutely loved all the manipulative. We have been using them during centers to improve their math skills as well as letter and sound recognition. Many students have improved the ADL skills (using the zip, snap, and tie cards). I have also noticed that their fine motor skills have also improved thanks to the lacing cards and bead lacing. I will continue to use all these useful manipulative to help them reinforce there skills during center time.”

  • Printer and Ink Needed

    Funded Aug 22, 2018

I am the upmost thankful for your generous donation. The printer has been a life saver for all the teachers on the grade. We have been able to use the printer to print work for students, data sheets, homework for all students. This printer has made planning a lot smoother. We have been able to receive copies on time to complete our lesson effectively. The students enjoy seeing that we can make copies of their work in color so they can take home to share with family. We have also been able to use the printer to make copies for parents as needed with them not having to wait till the next day. Once again thank you so much for your donation.”
