I teach in a class of 6th graders in a school that is 78% free/reduced. This means we have many at-risk students who do not have the resources that more affluent students have access to. We are a medium sized middle school but we are a strong and mighty community! Our staff works hard to reach out to these students and their families to educate them for the 21st century. We send a strong message daily that all of the kids will be successful and have the brainpower to go to college.
