• Bakers, Veterinarian, and More

  Thank you for supporting my classroom with the dramatic play materials. The students were very excited to be able to pretend to take care of the animals and help nurse them back to health. The students also really enjoyed to dramatic play materials for a bakery. Our students pretened to open up their own bakery and were baking and decorating a multitude of items that other students ordered. It was such a fun experience for the students and also fun to observe the students interact with each other and work together to create a business for both the bakery and the vet center. The donor's choose gift card help with setting up the space and creating labels and signs for both of the areas. My students loved all of the new supplies for the dramatic play area. Thank you!”

• Sensational Sensory Exploration

  Thank you so much for all of the materials that you helped donate through my "Sensational Sensory Exploration". My students love using the sensory table, we have been able to use many of the materials in the sensory table so far, some of my students favorites have been popcorn kernels with fall themed items, such as plastic pumpkins, plastic leaves and acorns, and pine cones. They have also enjoyed dried beans with animals, rocks, and trees. Kinetic sand with plastic people and and animals were also a big hit. They are sad when I change what is in the sensory table, but also very excited about what will be in it next. Thank you so much for giving them an opportunity to explore with their senses using so many different materials.”

• Never Bored With Busy Boxes

  Thank you so much for helping me create busy boxes for my students. They love being able to pick out an new activity when they have finished their work. The busy boxes that you have helped me create have given my students a selection of fun academic options to choose from after they have finished their required work. My students are now eager to finish their work so that they can pick out a busy box to work on. They are always asking when I am going to add new boxes to our shelf. The busy boxes help my students continue to learn and minimize the guesswork of what they will do when they are finished with their required work. Thank you from our entire class.”

• Adaptive Books

  Thank you so much for supporting my project and helping fund the adaptive books that I have been able to create and use in my classroom. These books have been a "huge hit" with my students. I am able to use these books during whole group and small group to introduce, review, and practice skills. My students love being actively involved by selecting the pictures for the books. The books that I was able to create have made reading more engaging and have been used to help my students with their language skills and supported my students as they work on critical thinking.”

• Print-Rich Environment Through Play

  Thank you so much for donating to my "Print-Rich Environment through Play" project. Your donation to this project made it possible for me to surround my students with more books and language that they could engross themselves in while playing. A print rich environment is extremely beneficial for helping the younger children learn about reading and language.

  The books that we received through the donation are being thoroughly enjoyed. I love sitting in the various play areas of my room and reading these stories to my students and it brings even greater joy to see them open the book by themselves and "read" the book and apply it to what they are doing. My students have been using these books to help them cook in the kitchen, give inspiration to their masterpieces in the art area, create amazing creations in the block area, and so much more throughout my classroom. These materials have been a huge success in my classroom and my students eagerly open them up and point out letters and words that they know and connect them to the various areas in our classroom.

  These books are making a huge impact within our classroom and helping our students see the connections between what we are learning and how it can be applied to other areas around them. My students love these books and are very appreciative for your generosity.”

• Family Learning

  Thank you so much for the "Family Learning" Materials. I was so excited to put these take home bags together to share with my students and there families. I am hoping that these materials will help encourage parents to be an active part of their child's learning.

  I have been able to create many bags to send home with my students. I was able to print off and laminate materials that were purchased with the Teacher Pay Teachers gift card to help create engaging bags for the kids to take home. I am sure that the students will be so excited to take these home.

• Math Fun

  Funded Apr 12, 2021

  Thank you so much for the math manipulatives and magnetic white boards! These items have replaced items used during virtual learning and are being used with students in the classroom now that we have returned to in-person. It is such a blessing to have the materials replaced and more, this ensures that my students are able to continue being engaged and learning with in the classroom.

  My students love the magnetic whiteboards. My students are able to write on them to show me what they are learning and to practice what they know while working. The students also use the magnetic manipulatives to problem solve, count, and show many other math concepts.

  Again, thank you for the math manipulative. These materials help the students to stay engaged in math and give them something to look forward to when we are learning, they really love the hands on materials.”

• DIY Differentiated Learning Centers

  Thank you so much for your generous donations that made it possible for me to differentiate my learning centers in the classroom. My students are excited about the new learning centers because they know that they have multiple activities that they can choose from to help grow and it helps to keep learning fun.

  The card stock and ink have really helped me support my higher and lower level students and has given them resources that I can use to help push them to grow. I am now able to provide my students with many options that are just right for them their learning ability and they are able to pick an activity that they enjoy.”

• You Are Invited...Sorry Ran Out Of Paper

  Funded Dec 31, 2017

  Thank you so much for the paper and ink that you supplied our classroom and school. These supplies have help us reach many of our families and encouraged them to come in to the school and see what their child is doing. We have used the supplies to promote our Black History Program, parent teacher conferences, and open house. I have included pictures from our program showing the children performing and the parents watching. The children were so excited to perform for their parents, they keep asking when we can invite them again. We are already working on our end of the year concert. The students love taking the colorful papers home to their parents, color paper is always more fun and exciting and it also catches the parents attention. The ink that I received also made it much easier for me to print off the fliers and have them ready to send home. Thank you again, our school truly appreciates your generosity.”

• Hot Off the Press! Our First Printed Published Book

  Funded Aug 7, 2017

  Thank you so much for donating the all in one printer/copier/scanner and printer ink. The printer has greatly impacted my students and their learning. At the beginning of the year I was able to get to know my student and teach them about computers at the same time by having the students using various computer programs to share about themselves and what they like. I was then able to save the documents that they created and make a book for each student to share with their parents. I have never been able to create a document that showcased multiple pieces of students work and send them home. The parents were overjoyed when they received the individualized book that we created for their child. The children get so excited to share what we have been learning about at school with their families, and the book we created gave the parents a visual to go with their child's explanation. The copier and scanner function on the printer also allows me to duplicate or save a copy of their work to keep in their academic portfolio and send the original home for parents to enjoy. We have also been able to create classroom books that tell about our classroom and the students in our room to help aid in their learning. I have included a picture of my students looking at a book we created about the letters of their name.

  I have also been able to use the printer to print off activities that we use for our learning centers to make them more fun and engaging. This printer has truly been been a blessing and greatly appreciated in our classroom.”
