I work in a title school, where students come from all different backgrounds. Each student is unique and different and bring so much joy and learning into our community. At our school we meet each individual need in a fun and engaging environment. Students in my classroom work with their peers to learn life long strategies that will help them become successful. Our school is a very caring community where we put students' needs first. Teachers are not afraid to think outside the box to try new and fun lessons to engage every student. Through teacher collaboration we have found that we need to change our reading instruction time and allow students to learn from their peers and learn in a more hands-on way. We are hoping this will increase our engagement and have an increase of students being able to read at or above grade level.
