I teach 22 fourth grade students. You wouldn't know it, but half of my class is ESE, which means that they learn at a speed that is much slower than their peers. Not only that, but they are also all from low-income schools and 100% of them are on free lunch because they are considered to be living in poverty. However, we don't let those obstacles stop us. We work hard, we motivate ourselves and work even harder to motivate others. We call ourselves a "family" and we operate just like one. We often disagree, we bicker, but we respect each other at the end of the day.
