Playing learning games is engaging and motivating for students. This card game, Fractions Wild, will enhance their understanding of equivalent fractions is engaging for students.   • Math Thinking Classroom Without Waste

    Thank you so much for your generous gift. My goal as a teacher is to get my math students thinking, moving, and learning how to work together. Your gift will help achieve those goals. Using plastic sleeves and laminating materials used repeatedly saves time and paper. Students use the markers as they visit stations and work on vertical surfaces they can write on to solve problems. Your kindness will be remembered each day in our classroom.”

  • Managing Money- Lessons for the Real World

    Funded Aug 6, 2023

    Our sixth graders were very appreciative for the pencil pouches which were used to hold our checkbooks, pens, class cash and other banking supplies. We have grown accustomed to using our online bank accounts and managing income earned. Having calculators on hand was also appreciated by students.

    As a teacher, I am very thankful for all the supplies donated to help our classroom economy be successful. My 160 students have already learned a great deal about managing and budgeting their income. I love the vocabulary growth and reasoning that I hear in their discussions about money.”
