  • Little Minds Create Big Stories!

    Thank you, I have seen students suffer this year and were very uninterested in school, let alone their work. I have seen a light spark in my after-school video class. Students were excited and intrigued about the video process. The ideas, creativity, and effort became great. The students began to shine and grow. They have been engaged and excited to share memories and moments in this class. This class, the equipment, and their motivation helped add to their life skills. Forever grateful. I can't wait for next year to continue to grow and build more inspiration.”

  • Parallel Teaching to Better Reach Students

    I want to say "Thank you" for assisting my class to have a better ICT experience for the school year and for other classes to come. My co-teacher and I are having more successful teachable moments with having the materials you guys sent to us. The students love having the kidney table to sit in their groups besides their desks. The easel is greatly appreciated when we are in groups and conducting separate lessons. The students love their classroom! Thank you so much for being a part of our 2016-2017 school journey!”

In the classroom, we do not have an easel which would be used majority of the time for parallel teaching. In an ICT classroom there are two teachers, and basically, we need two of everything, including the kidney table and the easel. We spend majority of our day in different small group instruction for station teaching or parallel. This becomes a challenge when you don't have the space or enough tables to put together. Plus a dry erase board big enough to convey the concept. The task becomes harder and you become creative. In spite of that, it is still difficult to teach without those items, one teacher is always at a disadvantage. The donation of the kidney table and the easel will help to perfect the teachings of my co-teacher's and I by increasing versatility within the classroom. Transitioning and developing the concept (teaching) will be easier and manageable. Student already enjoy our activities and participant well, but this will bring more organization and visible engagement and learning for the students.
