The donations would allow me to record my students performances and individual assignments. This gives the students a chance to self-reflect and see what they need to improve on. The band currently does not have any recording equipment so the students are forced to look at performances from cell phone recordings which lack the video and audio quality to properly evaluate an performance. Using video recording in the classroom is a great way to increase student accountability. I could use the video material not only for performances but as a classroom tool for group demonstrations as well as to teach video editing and movie maker.
