  • Good Listeners, Great Learners!

    Thank you so much for donating to our class! The materials you gave have boosted our reading skills drastically! Students who were newcomers to our classroom/country before we posted the project are now identifying objects in English and are reading letters and small words! Students are enjoying their new listening center and the books they can listen to! They get excited to choose the stories they want to read! They also love telling me how they have benefited from hearing me say new sight words that their working on during stations. They are becoming more independent as they prepare for second grade! We are able to use the pocket charts to help us stay organized and they have absolutely loved using the dominoes to add and subtract numbers! The new games we play during math stations as well as during free time are countless! Thank you so much for all you've done for our students!!”

  • It's a Bird, It's a Plane, It's...a Book About Math!

    Thank you so much for all the wonderful books you provided our class with! It has been such a blessing being able to incorporate literature and reading into our Math time. Students absolutely love the books and always choose a new book to read when they are in our library corner. Students are serious about taking care of the books and making sure others take care of the books as well. I'm proud of the ownership the students have taken over their new books. They understand that those are theirs and for their learning and they take pride in their learning! We are so thankful you all were willing to help us reach a new goal. Thank you so much once again for everything you've done to help my precious students!”

  • The Value of Reading Starts With a Great Library!

    Thanks so much for helping us reach our goals! We now have a beautiful library corner that students LOVE to cozy up with a book in. We also have a great time using our clipboards for easy quick checks, choice spots in the room, and outdoor classroom activities! We also use our easel everyday for morning meeting, reading lessons, writing activities, and math whole group. We look forward to using everything all year and I look forward to using these materials for years to come with hundreds of students. Your donation is going to help so many children!
