  • Kids Can Code

    Funded Nov 10, 2016

I can't tell you how amazed and excited I was when I learned that this project was funded! My students are using the Osmo Coding kits to learn visual coding in developmentally appropriate ways. It is exciting to see these littlest learners be able to grasp the concepts and logic behind coding and have fun at the same time. I know that these early experiences will provide them a foundation for more advanced learning as they grow and mature. When our project was funded I explained to the kids who was making this possible for them and that those people gave because they care about them learning about science, math and coding. So, not only have you given them the opportunity to code, but also you have taught them that there are people who care about their future.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Richeson

  • Kids Can Code

    Funded Oct 17, 2016

Thank you so much for your generosity in donating to my Kids Can Code project. Your donation provided my students with an Osmo system and also a Dash robot and accessories that both work in conjunction with an iPad.

The students have enjoyed using these to learn coding at the earliest levels. It is so exciting to see them learn to solve problems in critical ways yet watch them having fun while doing it. Their excitement is contagious.

Your generosity has ensured that some of our youngest students are being exposed to science and technology skills that will build a foundation for future learning.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Richeson

  • Kids can Code

    Funded Oct 12, 2015

Thank you again for generously donating to fund Dash & Dot robots in my classroom! We have been busy using them to play math games and to learn coding. The kids enjoy using them so much!

While using our robots, students are learning more than just math skills and coding though. They are learning to communicate & collaborate with each other, to solve problems creatively and to persevere through difficult tasks.

I cannot thank you enough for supporting not just my classroom, but also education in America. Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Richeson

  • iTouch 2 Learn

    Funded Oct 3, 2013

I cannot thank you enough for the donation that enabled me to purchase an iPad and case for my classroom! Not only have my students been able to practice different skills in fun ways, but also they have used the iPad to create their own content and show their learning. I feel that by using the iPad their interest is piqued, they are more engaged and they are using technology in new and exciting ways. Again, thank you so much for your continued support of public education in America. I am truly honored to be a recipient.”

  • iTouch 2 Learn

    Funded Oct 1, 2012

I cannot thank you enough for your generosity in donating two new iPod touches to my classroom.

The students have so enjoyed learning with them. They love to use the apps to practice math facts, count money, spell, practice grammar, tell time...the list goes on. They also enjoy using creative apps to share their work and things they have learned. In addition, when they listen to the stories I have loaded on the iPods they are hearing fluent reading modeled for them.

Again, I am so thankful for your providing me with this technology for me classroom and students.”

  • iTouch 2 Learn

    Funded Sep 5, 2011

Thank you so much for your donation to our class project! My students absolutely love learning on the ipods. They have enjoyed using the apps to practice math and reading skills. They love to listen to stories digitally as well. The students get excited when they listen to a book that they realize is in our classroom library and then want to read that book themselves. I know this kind of exposure to literature will further their development of becoming lifelong readers.

Your generosity means so much! Thanks again!”

    With gratitude,
