This following year, we teachers were informed of a budget cut and that meant limiting supplies to our students. Due to the budget cut, I had to give up providing notebooks and art supplies for my students. Because 4th grade is such a vital time to introduce common lifeskills like studying and taking notes, I use the following items to help students develop college prep skills. The notebooks are going to be used as interactive notebooks and the art supplies are to help with color coding their notes. Interactive notebooks help students stay engaged and it helps them study well.
