My students are some of the most creative students I have ever met! They never cease to amaze me with their artistic talents. I want to take those already existing skills, and refine to the finer arts! They have not had as many opportunities to experience fine arts as I had hoped, because I am a first year teacher. I want them to be able to use different mediums to portray different artists' works, such as using pastels for Degas and Monet projects on quality construction paper that will last a lifetime. Your donations would make a difference to our classroom because a lot of my students come from a low socioeconomic background and have not had access to some of the finer arts, nor has some of our classrooms had the funding to buy the needed art supplies. My students need more fine art supplies to have access to different mediums within art. We are hoping for some pastels, clay, and paint brushes to refine our abilities.
