  • An Apple a Day Keeps Learners at Play

    Funded Dec 22, 2018

Thank you so much for supporting my students. They absolutely love the new iPads we have received. Their faces lit up the first day I showed them the iPads and they were able to use them. Having these iPads in our classroom has sparked a new love for learning in my students. They use the iPads to reinforce skills we have been learning, such as, letters, numbers, addition/subtraction, spelling words, etc. We are also now able to use our Osmo gaming systems because of the iPads. The students enjoy playing these games that reinforce those skills as well. Once again, thank you for your generosity and supporting my students. They thoroughly enjoy having the iPads as a part of our classroom and learning.”

    With gratitude,

  • Chair Pockets For An Organized Classroom!

    Funded Oct 17, 2017

Thank you so much for supporting my students. They absolutely love their new chair pockets. Their faces lit up when they entered the room that day and saw them on their chairs. Having these chair pockets has made our classroom space much more organized and clutter free! The students are easily able to find the materials that they need for each activity. The chair pockets also give them more space on their desk while they are working. Once again, thank you for your generosity and for helping my students be more organized!”

  • T-Shirts for Our Student Council!

    Funded May 3, 2017

Thank you so much for helping us get shirts for our student council! The students absolutely love wearing the shirts to our different events. For example, we organized our first school spirit day and the students wore their shirts proudly to school. They take their responsibility of being a school leader very seriously and these shirts are helping to remind them of that responsibility.

When the students first saw the shirts they were ecstatic! They were so excited and could not wait to wear them. The shirts help identify the students as our school's leaders and the students take great pride in that. If it wasn't for your help, these students would not be feeling that pride and accomplishment in student council.

Our club has many more activities planned for the rest of the school year. The students want to participate in community service projects such as helping the homeless, thanking our firefighters and police men and women, and making our school a better place. We recently finished a candy fundraiser to purchase benches for our school garden. Once again, thank you for your support and generosity! The students and I greatly appreciate it.”

  • Flexible Seating for Busy Bodies and Minds!

    Funded Aug 25, 2016

Thank you so much for your donation to our classroom. The flexible seating options are loved by the students and they come in excited every day to try out a new seat. The day I introduced our new seating, all of the students were very excited and could not wait to use them.

Our classroom now has stability balls, wobble chairs, balance disks, pillows, and resistance bands as options for seating, so there is something that works for every student. The wobble chairs are definitely a class favorite. The first day we used the different seats I immediately noticed that my students were more engaged and focused on the lesson than ever before. The different seats allow them to wiggle and move while they work so they are able to better concentrate on their learning.

I am grateful for all of you and your support of our classroom. These flexible seating options are something I have been wanting for my students for a while, and with your help I was able to make it happen for them. They have been a great addition to my classroom and will help my students for years to come. Thank you again for your generosity and support.”

    With gratitude,

  • Literacy and Math Station Fun!

    Funded Apr 28, 2016

Thank you so much for your generosity and donation to our classroom. The literacy and math stations and alphabet tubs have been put to good use and are some of our favorite resources in our classroom. When I first introduced the materials the students were very excited and could not wait to start using the different stations.

The literacy and math stations are a great review for what the students have already learned during our work station time. Each station has different activities to help the students review the different skills we have learned. The students love having choices and are always engaged in their learning.

The alphabet tubs are a great way to introduce and review the letters and their sounds. The students get excited every time we learn a new letter. They can't wait to see what is going to be in the alphabet tub! These tubs are a great way for the students to learn letters and sounds, but to also incorporate real life objects into their learning. These alphabet tubs help my students connect their learning to the real world and I couldn't be more excited.

Thank you so much for your support of my classroom. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. These literacy and math stations and alphabet tubs have helped my students grow in their learning and will help my future students as well. I really appreciate all of you and your generosity!”

    With gratitude,

I teach full day Kindergarten at a Title I school in Harrisburg, PA. My students are creative and intelligent, however they are lacking the resources and opportunities needed to expand that creativity and knowledge. I want to give my students the opportunities they may not otherwise have to expand their love of literacy, math, and school.
