My students are awesome! They work hard each day to out-perform rigorous state standards and give me 100%. Our school is student centered and has an attitude of doing whatever it takes to help every child. Throughout this school year I have noticed that students prefer to sit in places that are not typical of the normal desk and chair combination. They love to work in bean bag chairs, on the floor, and even while standing. I have seen a remarkable improvement in their ability to focus and concentrate when sitting in alternative arrangements rather then the desk and chair combination so frequently used in classroom settings.
