The pedometers will allow students to measure how much they are moving and how much they have left in their physical fitness goals. Being able to pinpoint whether the student is working up to their potential, and more importantly, improving on their quest to become more physically fit, will greatly benefit our class. Having a gauge will allow me to give each student a baseline that they can reach and strive to exceed each week. Students will be able to see that small steps lead to big results as they walk or jog through class. We will measure how far it would take them to walk to locations around the world, providing them with motivation, competition, and class unity as each class strives to reach its goal.
