My school is in the state of Utah in a small town called Riverton. My students are fourth graders who have learned to read and are now learning to "read to learn." They have several interests in a variety of areas such as animals, insects, transportation, technology and movies etc. They love hands-on activities, kinesthetic movement, visuals, and videos to make their learning more relevant and engaging. All of them have goals and dreams that they aspire to accomplish. They are curious and ask questions. Their curiosity continually pushes me to keep learning and wanting to be the greatest teacher possible. I love my students and want them to become successful citizens that wonder and continue to move our world forward in a positive direction.
