Funded Dec 29, 2023Words cannot express how grateful my students and I are for your generous donations. By providing my class with copy paper I have been able to create so much work for students to help them succeed in school. For example, I have created more center work for my students in ELA and math.
One of the most important uses for copy paper is to make weekly homework packets for my students. Homework is a very essential part of kindergarten because it is review what I teach on daily basis in the classroom.
In addition, in kindergarten, we do a lot of word work and that requires a lot of copies every week for each student. Thanks to your donations, my students were able to produce more expressive writing projects, use extra worksheets to help them improve both their literacy and arithmetic skills. From the bottom of my and my sweet students' hearts, thank you!”

Materials Needed for Learning Centers in Kindergarten
Funded May 9, 2023Words cannot begin to express how grateful my students and I are for your generous donations. Your interest and dedication to help students successful in school touches my heart.
Centers are an important part of our classroom environment because centers allow students time to engage in developmentally appropriate activities that are purposeful.
Centers allow students to practice the skills they need to be successful in reading, writing and math. The students rotate between centers, and they choose the centers they want to practice daily.
Creating various centers allows me to see if they are making progress in the various subjects. Some centers for my kindergarteners include: letter sorting games, reading CVC words, Counting Sets of objects and comparing numbers.
Once again thank you for funding my project, Now, my students are more engaged than ever before.”

One way to reward my students for their hard work is to let them have Fun Friday. They get play and discover structures while building with blocks and developing fine motor skills. Kindergarteners love puzzles because it an entertaining way to review and vocabulary and will keep them engaged for hours.
I did not have puzzles, playdough, or blocks for my students to play on Fridays. But thanks to your generosity and dedication to public education my students can have fun and create memorable memories every week with their friends.”

Books, Books, Books All Around
Funded Mar 30, 2023Words cannot begin to express how grateful my students and I are for your generous donations. Your interest and dedication to help students become successful in school touches my heart.
The nonfiction books that we received made the research process easier for my kindergarteners. My students learned that animals are living things and how animals grow and change. They also learned that there are six main animal groups: including reptiles, birds, fish, amphibians, mammals, and invertebrates. Finally, they learn how animals adapt and their life cycles.
These animal research projects will help my students develop their research, writing, and technology skills beginning in kindergarten. I am so proud of my students because they put their best effort to complete their animal research projects.
Once again thank you so much for donating the books to my class. I will use these books for many years to come.”

Supplies, Supplies Needed to Succeed!
Funded Oct 26, 2022Firstly, words cannot adequately express the gratitude that my students and I feel towards your kind donations. With the use of these new materials, my students were able to produce more expressive writing projects, use extra worksheets to finish exercises that improved their literacy and arithmetic skills, and take part in interesting group discussions. It relieved some of my students' stress by replenishing our supply of pencils and dry erase markers so they never had to be concerned about showing up to class without any supplies.
You gave them supplies to use, which made it possible for me to provide my students with more center activities that strengthened important abilities needed for the growth of their learning. My students were able to use wipe boards to take notes, write quickly, and even display their work while delivering lesson material. The chart paper has also enabled me to create a ton of anchor charts that my pupils can use as a reference.
My students enjoyed having peer discussions about their projects and showcasing their arguments on the whiteboards! You have no idea how grateful I am for each and every donation. Knowing that there are people out there that support me and want my students to succeed makes my heart happy. But I need the proper equipment if I'm going to achieve it... and supplies are where it all begins. They are young people who will shape our future. Thus, I want to say thanks for supporting our future. It would be amazing if you could all get to know them and realize what a blessing it is for me to be their teacher. Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Mieses
