Flexible seating has been proven to help students achieve academic success within the classroom by allowing them to be more comfortable in their seating options. This will allow students to choose how they want to sit, stand and work during their classroom time. Flexible seating has been proven to decrease behavior issue within the classroom because they are being allowed to make decisions that directly affect their learning. I will move from traditional seating to a more relaxed feel, with the use of bean bag chairs, bouncy seat, bungee chairs and stools. The students love having a say on how they work and how they are sitting while working with the new seats this project with hopefully fund. This will also help those children who don't like to sit still in traditional seating. Nontraditional seating allows them to be much more comfortable like they are when they are at home.
