  • Capturing Ecosystems One Snapshot at a Time

    Thank you for the support that you have given our classroom. The student will be dissecting frogs later this year to help understand how body systems are connected. They have been learning about cell structure and function and are getting ready to go into levels of organization including body systems. My students cannot wait to get to this lab. They were also excited about the new cameras that we have used to capture images of the edible cells that they created in lab. They are looking forward to taking the cameras outside to do our ecosystem scavenger hunt in the near future.”

  • "Leaping" Into Body Systems

    Funded Apr 11, 2023

    Leaping into Body Systems has been the talk of my classes. I received the materials finally in August. There was a supply issue when we originally asked for the project materials. Leaping into Body Systems will be completed at the end of the school year. My students were in class when the dissection frogs arrived. The excitement from most students was priceless. They are so eager to do this project in May. The 7th grade Science students along with myself are so appreciative of your donation that provided us with enough frogs for each set of partners to dissect a frog. I know that they are going to be fully engaged in the dissection and making the connections of the body systems. Again thank you for investing in our class project, Leaping into Body Systems.”

Our school offers many opportunities for students to learn but our budget, like most schools, is limited and as a result some labs are not feasible. Any support would greatly be appreciated to meet the needs of my classroom.
