Our students come from a school in an urban neighborhood. The school has grades 6- 12. Many students struggle in their day-to-day lives. Our school is a warm community that gives students opportunity to thrive and succeed. We try to offer activities to keep students well-rounded, including bands, academic help, sports, and more. However, due to many things, we do not always have the funds to help all these programs succeed. This year students helped organize and carry out our first blood drive. Many were involved in this amazing event. It was a great feeling and those who often don't have to give were able to because they gave themselves. The students are now attempting to do it again!
